【詹健全／綜合報導】因傷各有多月未出賽的台灣職網女將詹詠然、張凱貞，今分別在美國網球公開賽會外首輪尋求復出，但結果詹詠然雖然以7比6(1)、6比4打敗會外第9種子、世界第113扎妮瓦絲卡(M.Zanevska)晉級會外第二輪，但另一位台灣復出女將張凱貞郤以0比6、4比6負於斯洛維尼亞球員拉姆佩蘭(P.Rampre)。
