　　上週四，玩家們期待已久的《植物大戰殭屍 2》在全球 App Store 正式上架。遊戲採用了 EA 最近不可自拔的 Free To Play 模式讓玩家免費下載，然而在下載之後眾多昂貴的內購讓遊戲遭受了不少負面評價。

　　如果先撇除掉情緒性的發言，《植物大戰殭屍 2》截至目前為止的表現如何呢？在近期招開的 Gamescom 上，寶開高層宣布了一組數字：《植物大戰殭屍 2》在 137 個國家發行以來，在上市五天之內達到了 1600 萬的下載量。與此同時有 114 億個太陽被收集、40 億棵的植物被種下以擊退 20 億波的殭屍被擊退，全球玩家的累積遊戲時間更超過了 2500 萬小時。這些驚人的數字，讓《植物大戰殭屍 2》成為 EA 今年的當紅炸子雞。

　　在近日的一次訪談中，寶開的 CEO Dave Roberts 也對《植物大戰殭屍 2》的消費模式發表了一些看法，他認為這款遊戲能在短時間內獲得如此驚人的下載量，完全應該歸功於這種免費發行的模式。至於部分玩家對於內購總金額近千元的指責，Dave Roberts 則表示：App Store 上收入最高的遊戲往往都使用這種模式，免費遊戲只是為玩家提供更多的選擇。

　　在這樣驚人的成績下，遊戲官方表示將在近日推出名為「Far Future」的改版，不過目前為止並沒有對這個改版做出更多的說明。
