王若琳、葛仲珊、DJ Noodles30日出席記者會，宣布將代表台灣參加「美國紐約CMJ音樂節」的「台灣之夜」演唱會。是否邀請製作人老爸王治平當觀眾？王板起臉說：「每次唱歌唱得很投入，一看到爸爸在台下，我就當場醒過來。」意指拒絕王治平到美國看她演出。

她把這次表演當「出國比賽」，興奮說：「我不會特別準備中文歌曲，想證明台灣也有許多很優秀的音樂，不是只會賣電腦。」也說即便父女感情再好，都不一定要有工作上的關係，「在音樂領域中，我並非新人，對於表演會有自己的想法，我希望能有自己的空間、彼此尊重。」

原就讀紐約大學商學院研究所的葛仲珊，為回台發片而休學，和爸爸關係決裂，能回紐約表演，她笑稱像圓夢，還樂得說要邀爸爸來觀賞，是父女感情回溫的好機會，但下了台，她說：「要面對爸爸仍怕怕的，也想不到怎麼突破僵局，順其自然就好。」
