第26屆IBAF世界青棒錦標賽正式開打，中華隊即將一日兩戰，根據最新的賽程表決定，中華隊2日將先對捷克隊，晚間將對加拿大。

由於大會也準備了預備日，中華隊在9月4日將對決墨西哥，以應付連2天因雨延賽的賽程。

對此，知道消息的中華隊總教練藍文成嚇一大跳，由於他之前就表示若是一日兩戰，對球員來說實在有些殘忍，不過技術委員會還是做出決定。

藍文成說：「我們最擔心的是他們改變賽制，若是以A組或是B組的冠軍相遇爭冠，那就會讓我們很頭大。」

另外，賽制改變的因素，原本中華隊對日本將會是生死決戰，現在總教練藍文成也認為要多少保留戰力，以免後來的比賽捉襟見絀。

「2天打3場比賽，我們必須要保留一個名額，還要留一位先發投手對加拿大隊，接下來我們會跟情蒐小組再討論。」

中華隊目前未來將對日本隊先派出林子崴先發抗日，尚未先發的林政賢有機會保留，原本的作戰策略是精銳盡出，現在也會考量後續賽程。
