高凌風前晚錄新歌〈如果都是天意〉，他因喉嚨感染，發不出聲音，資深音樂人韓賢光始終在旁鼓勵。韓賢光至今送走不少歌手好友，堪稱「音樂送行者」。他１日感慨地說：「當年我幫薛岳做了一張西洋專輯，他來不及唱就走了；我替潘安邦做了首新歌，他也來不及，這次我不想再留下遺憾。」

他曾與搖滾歌手薛岳組團，「我在病床旁告訴薛岳和潘安邦『你會好』，最後都沒好，我不覺得高大哥會怎麼樣，但該做的、該說的就要趕快做。」高凌風上周三告訴他想錄歌，他周六就把高拖進錄音室，「我必須盡力，也必須真實地面對這些事。」

高錄唱時，一不留神把「或許」唱成「也許」，韓賢光怕他體弱太累，問他「是不是這樣就好」？他堅持維持原歌詞，要重錄。高笑說：「年輕時，我不懂，瓊瑤幫我寫了〈大眼睛〉，我想把歌詞中的『蹉跎』改成『錯過』，被唱片公司被打槍，我現在可不敢再亂改歌詞，要尊重原作者黃明志，他寫得真美。」
