基鶯好激情 互嗆對方偷暗號

「基襪大戰」看不過癮，不過「基鶯大戰」同樣精彩，畢竟攸關季後賽排名與晉級之爭，雙方都十分重視勝負，金鶯隊以4:2獲勝，在系列賽中先奪1勝。

洋基隊這場比賽派出左投王牌，「沙胖」CC Sabathia先發，他主投7.1局被打7支安打，失4分有3分是自責分，苦吞本季第12敗。

金鶯隊Chris Tillman主投7局失2分的優質先發表現，也救了金鶯隊一命，避免洋基隊在戰績上追近。

除了球員打的激情，總教練們也很「激動」，金鶯隊總教練Buck Showalter在換局時的空檔跟洋基隊總教練Joe Girardi互嗆，引起場內小衝突，因為雙方都認為對方互相偷看捕手暗號。

原因是首局「A-Rod」Alex Rodriguez就開轟，引發金鶯隊懷疑，因此，三壘跑壘教練Bobby Dickerson也被Girardi反嗆，並跟主審抗議，Showalter還差點衝出去跟Girardi「對尬」，雙方人馬差點擦槍走火。

還好金鶯隊在1局下半也靠著主砲Adam Jones敲出高飛犧牲打追平分數。

並且在5局下由捕手Matt Wieters 擊出高飛犧牲打讓J.J. Hardy回來得分，Alexi Casilla安打後盜上二壘，Nick Markakis也敲安再下一城。

7局下Manny Machado再以一支二壘安打建功，儘管洋基隊在8局上由Lyle Overbay開轟，但最後還是以2:4輸球。
