威爾森放話 想飆177公里火球

「大鬍子」Brian Wilson轉隊道奇後，第一次碰到老東家巨人隊，飆出95英里(152.9公里)火球。「我原本還打算摧到110英里(約177公里)的，」Wilson說，「我一直為此而努力。」

這當然是玩笑話，其實Wilson不願過度塑造「對決老東家」的氣氛。即使他投1局沒失分，並靠隊友適時支援，拿下勝投，但賽後丟下一句「我沒多做什麼」，就匆匆走進更衣室。

Wilson從2006年起為巨人隊效力，並自2008年起擔任守護神，2010年投出48次救援成功，寫下個人生涯新高，當年巨人隊拿到世界大賽冠軍。但2012年Wilson受傷所苦，動了Tommy John手術，只投了2場比賽。球季結束後，巨人隊沒跟他續約，今年才從道奇隊復出。

因為這一段過去，記者才想多做文章。隔了一個晚上，Wilson總算透露對戰前隊友的心聲。

「過去，我都只在春訓練習賽時，才會碰到巨人隊打者，」Wilson說，「現在，他們已經是對手，我上場就只想著抓3個出局數，沒有其它想法或壓力，做好工作就是了。」

巨人隊總教練Bruce Bochy跟Wilson交情不錯，那一戰賽前，兩人短暫交談。「我希望讓Wilson知道，看到他復出，我很高興，」Bochy教頭說，「因為我知道他走過一段漫漫長路。」

過去Wilson為巨人隊效力時，和Buster Posey組成投捕搭檔，現在變成對手，兩人生涯第一次對決，Posey擊出右外野飛球出局。
