替代役男免費教爵士鼓　圓偏鄉童「鼓夢」

【李卉婷／屏東報導】「咚咚咚！」小朋友眼神專注看著爵士鼓譜，跟著鼓聲重節拍晃動身體，恆春家扶中心裡不定時會傳來鼓聲。

家住基隆22歲替代役男翁以田，今年10月入伍後申請到恆春服役，到恆春後發現學童不像在城市能多元接觸才藝，卻常常聽見小朋友喊：「如果能學樂器該有多好」，自學爵士鼓7年的他聽見小朋友心聲，寫了一份企劃書給屏東縣府社會處家扶中心申請10組鼓棒，開放偏鄉學童報名學習，利用下班時間免費教小朋友打爵士鼓，鼓班開班第三周，就有8位學童跟著他學習爵士鼓，就讀國二的張姓同學也樂得天天練習，還說：「要成為一名專業鼓手。」
 
恆春家扶中心主任余宗永表示，鼓班開課不僅讓家長在沒有負擔下讓小孩接觸才藝，也意外發現，打鼓能穩定國中生的較叛逆的個性，翁明年9月就退伍，目前也積極培養接班人，將鼓班繼續傳承下去。
