旅美投手陳偉殷27日接受國立體育大學的邀請，開設「榮譽講座」，他與學弟們分享自己在美日職棒得到的經驗，殷仔說「我會把自己所學，讓學弟們有更進一步的了解」。

陳偉殷畢業於國立體大，27日他是以榮譽校友的身分回到母校，首度擔任「陳老師」，他表示「球員生涯邁向另一個階段，感受到的不只是責任，還想要貢獻社會、回饋台灣」。

國立體大校長高俊雄親自為陳偉殷穿上國立體大外套，還送給他一個教授專用的背包。高俊雄說「陳偉殷是該校首名榮譽講座，希望透過他的經驗、技術以及智慧，傳承給母校的學弟妹」。

頒發聘書與獎座儀式後，陳偉殷與國體棒球隊約30名球員到棒球場，親身指導熱身、投球動作。

陳偉殷2004年1月與日本職棒中日龍隊簽約，2008年在一軍站穩腳步，在日職的成績是36勝30敗1救援、防禦率2.59，2009年防禦率1.54，拿到中央聯盟的防禦率王，2010年贏得13勝，是他在日職單季最多勝的一年。

陳偉殷2012年轉投效美國職棒金鶯隊，去年戰績12勝11敗、防禦率4.02，今年戰績7勝7敗、防禦率4.07。
