高雄已同意出借黄色小鴨 但盼安全返回

在基隆黃色小鴨爆裂後，主辦單位啟動各式緊急應變措施，其中包括向高雄出借小鴨；對此，高雄市政府回應表示，同意出借小鴨，但期待基隆市議會善待高雄小鴨，讓高雄小鴨可以平安返回。

高雄小鴨將二度擔任救火隊，之前桃園小鴨爆裂時，也是由高雄小鴨出馬，而這次基隆小鴨發生意外，最後出面解救的，也是高雄小鴨；高雄市政府在接到主辦單位商借的訊息，也火速回應，高雄市政府表示，基於傳遞愛與和平，讓更多國人感受小鴨幸福的力量，高雄市長陳菊同意出借高雄小鴨。

雖然同意出借高雄小鴨，但高雄市政府還有但書，高雄市政府表示，期待基隆市議會善待高雄小鴨，並盡速完成製作新鴨後，讓高雄小鴨可以平安返回；就有網友回應，在基隆小鴨這麼多爭議中，同意出借小鴨，高雄市政府果然是基於愛與和平，不過，這也顯示高雄市政府不放心基隆的處理措施，所以才有但書。
