日籍名投「平成怪物」松坂大輔日前自請離開克里夫蘭印地安人，希望到別隊找尋機會，事發不到2天，23日立刻傳出紐約大都會願意網羅的消息。

根據《今日美國》報導，大都會已經同意以大聯盟約簽下32歲的右投手松坂，不過目前還沒有關於合約的詳細內容消息。

由於陣中2位先發投手Jeremy Hefner、Jenrry Mejia最近紛紛受傷，大都會總管Sandy Alderson希望能先簽下松坂應急。

松坂本季都在小聯盟3A的哥倫巴斯快艇隊打拚，主投103.1局，戰績5勝8敗，防禦率3.92，平均每9局三振8.3人次、3.4次保送。
