拚當翻譯 只為一圓大聯盟夢

除了旅外球員力拚大聯盟夢想外，其實在美國職棒也有很多台灣人，以不同的方式來實現棒球夢，海盜隊擔任翻譯的許人傑，在旅外球員身上，投射了自己的願望，另外還有畢業於紐約大學的高材生林昱宏，他放棄高薪到金鶯隊當實習生，錢少事多卻不喊苦，他們的堅持和努力，讓頂尖的世界棒球舞台，看到台灣人奮鬥的身影。

在捕手和投手之間扮演重要的橋樑，讓來自不同國家的隊友溝通的更順暢，因為自己喜歡棒球，所以更熱愛這份工作，海盜隊翻譯許人傑，從小就是個超級棒球迷，雖然最後沒能往選手這條路發展，當因為擔任翻譯，和兩位旅外球員張進德和王維中選手表現好，就像是自己的榮耀。

對棒球渴望的夢也有了投射的目標，穿梭在記者席間幫忙發資料，顯得非常忙碌，從數百人中脫穎而出，得到這只有20人的實習機會，雖然是畢業於紐約大學的高材生，但不以薪水當成是第一考量，而是把夢想放在第一目標。

即便有時得放棄最愛的比賽，不過也還是非常享受在球場的每一刻，兩位台灣人在異鄉堅持夢想的精神，也把愛棒球的信念傳遞到了全世界。
