甜瓜心痛：尼克籃網是笑柄

對身處紐約的兩大「豪門強權」紐約尼克及布魯克林籃網來說，開季的低迷表現實在很難讓人信服，眼前是足以撼動聯盟冠軍頭銜的頂級隊伍。開季籃網5勝13敗，尼克3勝13敗的戰績，正好成為東區倒數第3、第2的難兄難弟。尼克主將「甜瓜」安東尼(Carmelo Anthony)就表示，「兩隊現在完全是聯盟的笑柄。」

尼克與籃網這對難兄難弟兼「新興世仇」6日將正面對決，兩隊都摩拳擦掌想贏下此戰，不僅擊潰對方士氣，也為自己的低迷狀況注入一劑強心針。

根據《紐約每日新聞》(NY Daily News)報導，尼克一哥安東尼就在接受訪問時表示，「現在的尼克與籃網，無疑就是NBA聯盟中的『笑柄』，兩隊名聲都糟透了。」

但「甜瓜」也透露，「我喜歡這樣被嘲笑嗎？當然不！」顯然這位上季的年度得分王仍期待球隊積極有所作為。

外界盛傳可能接下尼克燙手山芋的前教頭小范甘迪(Jeff Van Gundy)則出面替伍德森(Mike Woodson)「緩頰」，直言尼克目前的問題不在總教練，而是整體陣容深度出了問題。

小范甘迪說道，「現階段安東尼在進攻端得打出更有效率的表現，包括板凳深度與傷病問題都是影響球隊戰績的主要因素，這不是教練問題，而是球隊整體陣容的問題。」

「尼克陣中幾名投籃狀況不佳的球員，需要試著在場上清出位置，讓安東尼有足夠空間進行單打，另外球隊必須把三分手感給找回來。」小范甘迪說道。

本季尼克整體戰力明顯下滑，團隊得分從上季的100分大幅滑落至92.8分，其中三分線命中率更是從上季的37.6%，暴跌至32.2%(聯盟倒數第3)，僅優於活塞與山貓。
