南投縣清境民宿過度開發問題，內政部營建署與南投縣政府邀請7名地質專家學者上山勘查，確認哪些地方危險、哪些地方安全，要作為清境地區災害潛勢區的參考。

但天公不作美，清境地區上午山霧瀰漫又飄著細雨，視線不良，地形面貌都看不到，內政部和南投縣政府請來的學者專家們只走訪了2個點就結束行程，攸關清境風景特定區都市計畫能否通過，當地100多家民宿業者都高度關切。

檢方偵辦竊占和違反水土保持法仍照原進度走，但竊占國有土地的民宿不一定會被立即拆除，而需要視情況作通盤檢討，今天勘驗的結果，18日由內政部開記者會說明。
