日月光汙染案 陳菊：究責到底

針對日月光水汙染案，高雄市長陳菊今天表示：「深感痛心，將究責到底」；她指出，市府會積極協助受損農漁民討公道，保障市民食安。

高雄市政府今晚主動對外發布新聞稿指出，陳菊市長肯定市政府環保局依法對日月光開出法定上限最高罰鍰。陳菊也指出，目前中央水汙法的罰則太低，建議中央儘速研議修法，才能有效嚇阻不法。

陳菊表示，市府長期都有對後勁溪水質進行監控，因此這次主動發現有受汙染狀況，即在第一時間清查各廠商，揪出源頭。之前就已數次對日月光科處最高、最嚴厲的罰鍰，但目前水汙法的罰則太低，無法有效嚇阻，市府會研議向中央提出修法建議。
