路竹會完成15天甘比亞義診

【曾佳俊／新北報導】台灣路竹會本月12日起展開為期15天的非洲甘比亞海外義診，日前順利完成任務返國，這次共到甘國3個據點義診，總計診療人次達5000人，1天最高甚至看診超過700人。

路竹會表示，當地醫療匱乏，許多居民甚至沒看過牙科醫生，病患獲知義診消息，前一天晚上開始排隊，還有人藉機賣黃牛票站位牟利，屋外隊伍綿延超過500公尺，數度發生衝突。

成員指出，甘比亞官方語言為英文，但7成以上是文盲，診療溝通相當不便，但有熱心病患願意充當翻譯，且幫忙取藥，讓義診團感到窩心。
