晶片升級 iMac桌機跑更快

（中央社台北24日電）繼上週iPhone新機開賣後，蘋果公司（Apple Inc.）馬不停蹄以更快的英特爾公司（Intel Corp.）晶片和加強支援快閃記憶體儲存來翻新iMac桌上型電腦陣容。

蘋果在新聞稿中表示，這些新iMac將採用英特爾第4代四核心處理器，並配備更快的繪圖處理器。這批今天開賣的電腦，也將支援加快版的Wi-Fi連接標準和PCIe（快捷外設互聯標準）快閃儲存。

蘋果這波新品攻勢，有助於緩和投資人對這家公司成長趨緩產生的疑慮。蘋果昨天公布新款iPhone開賣週末熱銷900萬支，改寫紀錄，股價聞訊大漲5%，收在490.64美元。

iMac曾是蘋果最暢銷產品，如今鋒芒已被iPhone和iPad蓋過，但其全功能規格仍舊是蘋果設計的高調象徵。

蘋果全球行銷資深副總裁希勒（Philip Schiller）在今天的新聞稿中表示：「iMac依舊是證明桌上型電腦可以多麼美觀、快速和有趣的典範。」

蘋果公布，這批新機售價介於1299美元和1999美元之間，依螢幕尺寸、處理器速度和其他功能而有所不同。螢幕尺寸有21.5吋和27吋可選。
